GOLDEN MOVIE AWARD 2016 SET TO MAKE HISTORY




The Golden Movie Awards is an annual award that seeks to honor outstanding achievement in the African television, digital media and film industries and is administered by the expert in the Cinema & Television, the Awards recognizes film Excellence in a variety of categories for an international appeal.

The Awards which is instituted by NMJ GHANA and its African and international partners seeks to bring together key film professionals, craftspeople and decision‐makers from across Africa, to honor, celebrate and promote the talent and accomplishments of the African, film industries.

THE MISSION: The Golden Movie Awards mission is to change the narrative of Africa, by awarding Excellence in the Africa through films
THE VISION: To project and make the works of the African film makers attractive enough for a global appeal

AMAA 2016 THE GLITZ, GLAMOUR AND WINNERS






It was a beauty to behold at the redcarpet of this year's Africa Movie Academy Award where the stars turned out in their superb outfit to represent the different categories of award nominations

All over Africa we had beautiful and handsome faces declaring their vote of confidence in the African Oscar of an award.

AMAA 2016 lived up to its expectations and the nominees couldn't have wished for more. The presidential Hotel in the beautiful city of Portharcour was home to the film makers across Africa and His Excellency the Governor of Rivers State graced the occassion with his presence as cultural and beautiful performances made the day a worthwhile experience for all film makers present.

It was time for the main reason for the award, who takes it all and you can bet it definately was not disapointing.
