It was a beautiful combination of great partnership at the just concluded Joburg Film Festival with The National Film & Video Foundation boosting the event with experts in marketing and distribution, which is an integral part of film making as there is no film making without a business side to it.
It was practically a practical angle to the film festival as statistics were presented by the detailed and very versatile Onke Dumeko from the NFVF who presented data and statistics from a well sponsored research by the organization paving way for the industry leaders invited to speak about Marketing and Distribution.
With a panel of Andrew Ohio (Group CEO EIC Communications Pty Ltd) Victoria Ogar (Nollywood Account Manager Film One Entertainment), Jana Erasmus, Diane Hay (Director Gravel Road Africa), Thandeka Zwana and Khanyi Magubane it was an amazing time with young Film makers filled with enthusiasm and ready to make an impact on the global stage. A very interactive section and I bet you won't want to miss the next festival and it's beautiful success story.
